𝐏𝐫𝐞

During this week, students got familiar with letter /o/ sound with its action and examples.

𝑂𝑐𝑡𝑜𝑝𝑢𝑠, 𝑜𝑛 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑜𝑓𝑓, 𝑜𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑒

In math session, students learned numbers (5-6-7-8).

۲𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 ۳𝐫𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 /odi1/

Students got familiar with possessive and contractions. They learnt to use new structures.

𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝐵𝑎ℎ𝑎𝑟’ 𝑠 𝑏𝑎𝑔.

Also, they learnt new words such as: 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑠, 𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑠, 𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑙d𝑟𝑒𝑛, 𝑜𝑙𝑑, 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑔

۴th, 5th and 6th grade /odi3/

During science session, students got familiar with sound, heat, weight, light. Also, they learnt how to group objects.

In GE session, students learnt to use adjectives to make their writing more interesting.

First grade /phonics2/

Students learned about their body parts. They also learned new letters “g,f” with examples.

Cvc words were practiced during the week.

Third grade /odi2/

During the week students were supposed to do a project about whether. Therefore in general Sessions they tried to talk about their project and show it to their friends.

Today it’s windy.

It’s snowy on Friday.

Fourth, fifth, sixth grade /odi 4/

Students learnt about actions and different kinds of hobbies. They also tried to give suggestions.

Let’s go snorkeling. I’d love to.

۴th, 5th, 6th \ odi1\

 Students learnt about family members. They also learned jobs. Students are able to make sentences with new vocabularies and structures:

Who is he? Is he a journalist? No, he isn’t. He’s a vet.

Who is she? Is she a teacher? Yes, she is. She’s a teacher.

Book pages 30 -35 were covered. Students had a test and dictation of unit 2. They did some pages of their activity books, too.

  ۲nd /phonics 2/

During this week long o ( oa , o-e , ow ) with its  sound , action , words , flashcards and sentences was taught. Long a ( ai , ay , a-e) , long e (ee, ea ) , long I ( ie , i-e , igh ) with their words, flashcards and sentences were reviewed.

Students did some pages of their phonics book.

۱st/phonics1/

In science session, body parts were taught. Students have been able to use following sentences:

I have got two eyes.

I have got one nose.

In phonics sessions, letters (a, m, t, s, h, I, p, n, e, o) were reviewed and practiced. Letters /D/ and /G/ with their sounds, actions, formations, words, flashcards and blended sounds were taught.

{Dog, duck, doll, dinosaur, and dig} , {green, goat, goose, girl, and guitar}.

Students did some pages of their phonics book.

Numbers and colors were reviewed, too.

۶th Grade /odi6/

During this week, activity book /unit2/ was checked. Students had a test and dictation, too. (The usage of present perfect and present perfect continuous)

New vocabulary as well as new grammar /passive/ were introduced and presented. Students have been able to turn active sentences to passive sentences.

One unit of “word skills” was practiced and students have been able to use following sentences:

What does … mean?

How do you pronounce …?

How do you spell …?

What’s the difference between …and ….?

What’s the opposite of…?

Could you please explain …one more time?
