During this week, pages 32-33 of pupil’s book were covered.

Students did science test as well as reading and grammar test of unit 2.

They were ready to give a summary of some reading texts of the pupil’s book and story book.

In science session, different groups of animals “mammals, reptiles, amphibians” were explained.

In GE session, pages 28, 29 of students ‘book were reviewed.

Also, Students did some pages of their activity books and did some spelling tests.

 Feeling and emotions were reviewed.

Following sentences practiced with pantomime, role play.

Are you happy? Yes, I am. No, I’m not.

Is she \he cold? Yes, she\he is. No, she\he isn’t.

Are they hungry? Yes, they are. No, they aren’t.

Different parts of the house were taught.

Where is he? He is in the living room.

What is he doing in the living room? He is watching TV.

۲nd /phonics 2/

Long /a/ (ai, ay, a-e) + long /e/ (ee, ea) + long /i/ (ie, i-e , igh) were reviewed with examples and sentences. Students did some pages of their activity books.

Different parts of the house {living room, dining room, bed room, kitchen, bathroom, and garage} were covered by using a PowerPoint.

Where is she? She is in the kitchen.

What is she doing in the kitchen? She is cooking.

۱st/phonics1/

Body parts and letters /s, p, n, e/ were reviewed. Letter /o/ with its sound, action, formation, and flashcards was taught. (Orange, octopus, ostrich, on, off, ox)

Blending sounds related to letter /o/ were practiced.( on , no ,hot , pot ,top)

 Students did some pages of their phonics books, too.

Pre/phonics1/

Letters (p, e, s) were reviewed. Letter /N, n/ with its action, sound, examples and blending sounds was taught.

Nose, neck, nine, net, nest

Body parts, colors reviewed.

۱st grade /phonics 2/

Students learnt the letter “Dd” with its examples. “Shapes and colors” have been also reviewed.

۳rd grade /odi2/

Previous subjects have been revised during the week. Students have had tests of units 1 and 2 (transportation and clothes). They also wrote the dictation of the related vocabularies.

Units 1-2-were reviewed. Students had tests of units 1-2. Following sentences have been covered:
