Pre /level 1/

Concept of (five sense, daily activity, and body parts) were reviewed. Following sentences have been covered. Students are able to make sentences:

I can see with my eyes.

I can hear with my ears.

I can smell with my nose.

I can taste with my tongue.

I can touch with my hands.

I have got two eyes.

I have got two ears.

I have got one nose.

I like grapes (peaches, oranges, grapes, cake, chocolate, biscuit, orange juice)

I don’t like soup.

I wake up.

I brush my teeth.

I wash my face.

I comb my hair.

I go to school.

Also, students are able to identify living and non-living things.

Flower is a living thing.

Pen is a non-living thing.

In addition, letter /v/, /x/ were reviewed.

۲nd and 3rd grade /odi1/

Students had a written test of units 1-5.

Students got familiar with different rooms in a house.

They are able to talk about the place of objects. (on, in, in front of, behind)

۴th and 5th grade /odi3/

Students had a written test of units 1-5.

In science session, they got familiar with magnets and they had a test of science, too.

In GE session, students got familiar with nature. They practiced new vocabularies:

Hut, valley, vines, waterfall, bridge

Ms.Golbaba /odi6/

In GE sessions, students read some reading parts and they got familiar with some facts about space.

Also they did some worksheets to solve their grammar problems and they had a test of units 1-4.

In Science sessions, students had a test and they got a new concept of science. (Dinosaurs and Fossils)

۱st grade (level 2)

Students learnt long e (ee). They practiced reading and writing words containing “long a” and “ee” words. They also practiced reading and writing sentences containing tricky words.

۳rd grade (level 2)

Students learnt about different objects in a birthday party. They also practiced and reviewed the grammar of “there is” and “there are”.

There are some balloons in the room.

There is a cake here.

There isn’t any candle.

۴th,5th,6th grade (level 2)

During the week students learnt the difference between must and should.  They took a related exam as well. Previous subjects have been practiced. Beside students learnt to talk about the process of digestion.

Must: rules => you must tidy your bedroom. You mustn’t sleep late.

Should: you should read a good book in your free time.

۴th, 5th, 6th /odi1/

During this week all of the concepts related to unit (6) were taught up to page 65. They did tests of units 1-4.

They learnt new structures and new words related to unit 6 (different parts of the house). They practiced these following sentences:

Do you live in a flat? Yes, I do./No , I don’t.

Where do you live? I live in cairo/ a flat.

Where’s she/he? She’s/he’s in the kitchen.

۲nd /phonics2/

 In phonics sessions /air  , or , ar /with their sounds, words and sentences were taught so students have been able to read following words with their sentences.

In phonics sessions letters (V, X, J) were reviewed.  They did some worksheets. In addition, students have been able to read the blended sounds and sentences.

X= box, fox, six,

He is six.

She is six.

This is a box.

J= jam, jar, jug, jelly, jump, jet

 This is a jet.

 V= van, vet, violin, vase, vest

 It is a van.

In math session, they are able to count and write numbers 1 to 15. In science session, They learned about different parts of the plants (seed, roots, leaf, stem and flower).
