During this week, Students got familiar with letters /e/ and /p/ with their actions and examples.

Elephant, emperor, empty, egg

Puppy, pig, pink, purple

Letters /a,m,t,i,h,s/ were reviewed.

The book (Super Rory) was completed by students. They are able to identify colours and numbers.

Students got familiar with members of the family.

Different jobs were introduced such as: 𝑝𝑖𝑙𝑜𝑡, 𝑝𝑜𝑙𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑜𝑓𝑓𝑖𝑐𝑒𝑟. 𝐽𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑠𝑡, 𝑓𝑖𝑟𝑒 𝑓𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡𝑒𝑟, 𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑠𝑡, 𝑑𝑜𝑐𝑡𝑜𝑟, 𝑣𝑒𝑡, 𝑡𝑒𝑎𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑟

Students are able to ask and answer following questions:

Students have learnt different parts of a house: 𝑔𝑎𝑟𝑎𝑔𝑒, 𝑙𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑟𝑜𝑜𝑚, 𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑟𝑜𝑜𝑚, 𝑘𝑖𝑡𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑛, 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑦 𝑟𝑜𝑜𝑚, 𝑢𝑝𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑟𝑠, 𝑑𝑜𝑤𝑛𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑖𝑟𝑠, 𝑏𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑜𝑜𝑚

They also got familiar with simple past as well as place prepositions: 𝑖𝑛, 𝑜𝑛, 𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟, 𝑛𝑒𝑥𝑡 𝑡𝑜, 𝑎𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑, 𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟, 𝑏𝑒ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑑, 𝑖𝑛 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑡 𝑜𝑓.

First grade and preschool

Students learnt to read the CVC words and simple sentences. The letters /e/ and /o/ have been taught and practiced during the week. Students also learnt parts of the body.

I have got two eyes. I have got one nose. I have got two hands. I have got 10 fingers.

۳rd grade /odi2/

During the week students learnt to describe their clothes using different kinds of adjectives. Previous subjects have been reviewed and practiced. Students had a test of units one and two. They were also supposed to do a project related to clothes and weather.

I put on warm clothes in winter.

I put on T-shirt and shorts in the summer.

۴th,5th,6th grades /odi4/

Previous subjects of units 1 and 2 have been reviewed and practiced. Students had also spelling tests and dictation of the vocabulary of these two units. The storybook has been covered to enhance student’s comprehension and reading skills.

Emotions and feelings were taught.

Following sentences have been practiced:

Are you happy? Yes, I am. No, I’m not.

Students got familiar with different countries and nationalities and they have been able to use following sentences:

 Where are you from?  I am from Iran.

Is she from china? Yes, she is. No, she isn’t.

They did some pages of their activity books, too.

۲nd /phonics 2/

Long /a/ (ai, ay, a-e) and long /e/ (ee, ea) were reviewed. Students learnt long /i/ with its action, words and sentences.

In science session, students got familiar with different kinds of matters so they are able to distinguish and make examples.

In math session, Students learnt “above &below”, numbers “۱ up to 50”. Students did some pages of their activity books, too. Different parts of the house {living room, dining room, bed room, kitchen, bathroom, and garage} were covered with these questions:

Where is she? She is in the kitchen. What is she doing? She is cooking.

۱st/phonics1/

Letters /s/, /p/ and /n/ were reviewed. Students learnt letter /e/ with its action, formation and new words. . (Egg, elephant, eight, elbow,)

Also some pages of their phonics book and math books were done.

In science session, students have been able to name different parts of the body.

۶th Grade /odi6/

Some pages of their students’ book were done. Students got familiar with different kinds of music around the world.

Some pages of activity book /unit 2/ and extra questions were checked.

Also students are able to identify and use rising and falling intonation with questions tag.
