During this week following concepts have been covered:

Review of colors & numbers 1-50

Review of school subjects (classroom objects words such as: pencil, sharpener etc.)

Classroom action words (sit down, stand up, open your book, close your book & etc.)

New structure “demonstrations” {this is, these are, that is, those are}

They can make following sentences:

What’s this? It’s a pen.     What are these? They are pens.          What color are they? They are red.

What’s that? It’s a chair.    What are those? They are chairs.    What color are they? They are brown.

 Story (work hard at school) was covered. Students did some pages of their books, too.

۲nd /phonics 2/

In phonics session, long/ a/ (ai, ay, a-e) was reviewed with examples and sentences.

Long /e / (ee, ea) with its words, sound, action and sentences was taught. Students did some pages of their books, too.

Letters /a, t, m, h, I, s / were reviewed. Students are able to read and name blending words.

Letter/ p/ with its action, sound, formation, and words was taught.

Blended words related to letter “s “&” p “were introduced.

Practice following questions: what color is it? What color do you like?

Students did some pages of their books, too.

۶th /ODI 6/

Reading part in their book was taught and the questions were completed.

۱st chapter of their story book was read and comprehensions questions were done, too.

Grammar test /present perfect/ was done.

Sizes (big, small) were reviewed.

Numbers (1-4) were taught.

Colors were introduced.

۲nd and 3rd grade /odi1/

In Math session, basic addition was taught.

In Science session, students learned daytime and nighttime sky.

I can see sun, clouds, birds, plane, and kite in the daytime sky.

I can see moon, stars in the nighttime sky.

In GE, students got familiar with different countries and flags.

۴th and 5th grade /odi3/

During this week, students got familiar with concept of “sum” and “in all” in math sessions.

In science session, different landforms on earth was explained.

(Mountains, hills, dessert, ocean, lake, pond, valleys)

Also,” daytime and nighttime sky “was taught.

Taught letters have been revised during the week. They also learnt to recognize letter /n/.

Students tried to use sentences to show shapes.

Previous subjects have been revised during the week. Students have had tests of unit 1 and 2 (transportation and clothes). They also wrote the dictation of related vocabulary.

Previous subjects have been revised during the week. Students have had tests and many games of unit 1 and 2 (jobs and feelings). They also wrote the dictation of related vocabulary.
