In this week during GE sessions, students have learnt the usage of “must, mustn’t , should, shouldn’t, ought to, and had better”. Also they are able to use simple past in their sentences perfectly.

Following vocabularies and sentences have been covered, too.

  • Are you ready for the nature camp?
  • What equipment have you got?
  • What do you need to have?

  • What should you pack if it’s sunny?

During this week following letters with their sounds and actions have been practiced.

Students have been able to name some words and read some blended words, too.

۲nd Grade:

Letters /a-z/ with their examples were reviewed during this week.

Students have been able to read some blended words as well as simple sentences.

During this week, alphabet letters a-z with their examples were reviewed.

Hello/ how are you?/ I’m fine , thank you/ I’m happy/I’m great/ I’m sad.

“Action song” was played and students are able to do action verbs such as:

Clap your hands.

Stamp your feet.

Swing your arms.

Shake your hips.

Also, students are able to answer following questions:

Do you like pizza? Yes, I do.

Do you like popcorn pizza? No, I don’t.

In MATH session, students got familiar with shapes (circle, square).

Colors and numbers were reviewed.

Students got familiar with demonstrative (this, that, these, those). They are able to ask and answer following questions:

What’s this? It’s a pen.

What’s that? It’s a book.

In addition, Students are able to identify school objects such as: pen, pencil, notebook, glue, scissors, and book.

Following sentences have been covered:

This is my notebook. I can write on it.

This is my book. I can read.

This is my glue. I can stick.

These are my scissors. I can cut.

In MATH session, students got familiar with simple addition. Following sentences have been covered:

۲ plus 2 equals 4.

۲ and 2 is 4.

During this week, students got familiar with food and fruits such as: avocadoes, mangoes, pasta, flour, strawberries, cherries, rice, peaches, and plums.

Students are able to identify countable and uncountable nouns. Following sentences have been covered:

Is there any flour? Yes, there is.     No, there isn’t.

There isn’t any flour.

Are there any apples? Yes, there are.  No, there aren’t. There aren’t any apples.

Pre- school / first grade (level 2)

During the week students learnt the letters “Aa” , “Tt”, “Mm”. They also got familiar with the examples of letters “a and t”.

The concept of shapes has been declared in the class.

A: ant, apple, arrow, alligator

T: train, tiger, teacher, tennis

It is a square. It is big/small.

It is a circle. It is small.

۳rd grade /0di2/

Students learnt about transportation. “this, that, these, those” were also revised and practiced in order to make the students skillful in making sentences. They could also distinguish the different usage of singular and plural nouns and pronouns.

This is a red car.

These are blue bikes.

Those are yellow planes.

۴th grade /odi4/

Students have learnt about different kinds of jobs. They tried to learn about what people usually do in their jobs. They chose a job and tried to support their answers.
